What this means is that even when the Generals ask these politicians to stop throwing useless-obsolete hardware at them it is received with a blind eye and sealed lips.
Jeb! The poster boy for the MIC in 2016 is going go so far as to pull his brother George (a past MIC favorite) on stage with him and actually try to get votes for doing it. George is not much of an asset when it comes to the rest of the country, but in South Carolina where war(s) mean jobs and lot's of taxpayer cash flowing in from the rest of America it's a dream come true.
