t's not nice to blame God for people's shortcomings. The problem here lies with people (especially in the South) who suffer from  Schizoaffective disorder; a mental condition that causes both a loss of contact with reality (psychosis) and mood problems. In simpler terms, "in-congruence".  This is evident when comparing what these people say (e.g. very religious) and how they behave (e.g. racists, bigoted, support wars, fans of violent sports, oppose social programs, etc.) In short, they don't "practice what they preach" which is in and of itself, "crazy-making."
