The Romans loved it. They were not at all bothered by kicking lobbed off human heads around the stadium.
The only difference now is that Americans have kept the heads on the shoulders of those who' like a bunch of overgrown kids" run up and down fields chasing a ball while scrambling the brains in those heads of theirs.
Even worse, Americans go as far as throwing their children in the arena for the "fun" of it.
Even the Romans didn't go that far.
