I'm certain that Republicans will demand congressional hearings and a DOJ investigation to uncover just how, why, and when, President Obama and his socialist cadre of advisers caused a delay in shipping the "Apple iPad mini 2 LTE"
I'm also certain I'll be seeing Boehner and McConnell on all the weekend talk shows railing about how President Obama is incompetent, unable to lead, misguided, and Oh! as a Muslim born in Kenya, completely out of touch with the American people.
If I missed anything I'm sure if you turn on FOX you'll be able to get filled in on all the details; ad nauseum by one of their "expert" Consultants.
Being the idiot that I am, I want to ask
First, is there any connection between President Obama and private business when it comes to their operating policies?
And, if the answer happens to be "no" then I would like to know how President Obama is being held responsible for a "private sector" software companies shortcomings, or for "private sector" Insurance Companies policies on cancelling and raising insurance premiums.
I'm almost certain as to how the Republicans will respond to that.
Apple had problems launching the iPad mini 2, but after the tablet went on sale on November 12 you might have thought that the problems have been resolved. Maybe they haven't, at least not fully.
The Cellular version of the Apple iPad mini 2 is on back-order on all the major US carriers. Verizon's shipping date slipped from November 25 to December 2, Sprint is saying the tablet will ship in up to 2 weeks, AT&T will take 3-4 weeks to ship, while T-Mobile might not manage before Christmas with 6-8 week shipping delay.
Surprisingly, Apple's web site still lists the original 5-10 business days for shipping it did when the iPad mini 2 launched. Availability for store pickup is very limited at the moment.
