We can learn from Mother Teresa

Rather than making a big deal out of one person's act of charity why not focus on the much greater problem; the thousands of homeless, shoeless people are on the streets of supposedly the richest, powerful, greatest nation on earth. Waving flags, beating drums and blowing our own horns does little to nothing for those in need other than serve as a distraction and a lame excuse that we are indeed "good" people. If we want to do the work needed to help the homeless we need look no further than in the mirror; especially those in the elite 1% who squeeze the ink out of those dollars they hoard.

Homeless ‘shoe man’ shoeless again and wanting more
