Rumor has it that the letter was written in Hebrew and sent to her Rabbi. The author demanded that they remain anonymous and any effort to disclose their identity would result in their sending Feinstein's dancing panties to the local newspaper(s) for DNA analysis.
This was only a rumor and there is nothing to corroborate it's existence which does not mean it's not true.
