The strategy is simple. Get Americans to believe that Trump is Putins puppet and a vote for him (or his supporters) is a vote for the big bad Russians.
Well, guess what? No body cares or is afraid of the Russians invading the US.
This is 2018, not 1956! And, besides, Reagan played the last Russian card with his "evil Empire" quip.
That's not to deny there's something to fear, but we need to look in our own back yard for those bad guys.
