WATCH: de Blasio says large gatherings in NYC are Banned but BLM protests are an exception
Appearing on CNN with Wolf Blitzer, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio appeared to imply that large gatherings are banned in the city, but Black Lives Matter protests would be given an exception and allowed.
De Blasio argued “we have to respect” Black Lives Matters protests as a “moment of change” while at the same time not allowing other gatherings such as parades, sporting events and fairs.
