LEGALIZED RAPE

No. Not sexual – financial.

Does anyone ever wonder where all that money these “money-mongers” are hoarding is coming from? It’s not the bankers. All they do is shuffle it and take some of it in process. It’s not investors. All they do is shuffle money around and also take some for themselves in the process. Wealth, which generates money, comes from those who actually do something to produce it. The rank and file workers who put in 100% of themselves and receive a pittance in return.

Despite all the rigmarole about the risky trading by JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) that led to a $6.2 billion trading loss last year, what will save Jamie Dimon from any major career repercussion is the fact that if you own stock in JPMorgan, you’ve made money under the chairman and chief executive's leadership. And above all the din and arguments concerning risky banking practices is the voice of money -- if you’re making it, then you’re fine with how it's being made.

Poor Jamie D had to take a pay cut and bring home a pay check for $12 million rather than the $23 million he ripped off last year.

I say “ripped off” because it wasn’t Jamie who made the money. It wasn’t JP Morgan who made the money.

It wasn’t the investors who made the money. Here’s where the money came from:

U.S. taxpayers are the victims and, as those who are sexually assaulted, they are in shock and shamed by being told they are losers and takers by rapists like Jamie D.

A BLESSING FROM GOD?
Johann Wagener 3-17-13

I wonder if those crazies in the GOP believe this one was also a blessing from God?

Or maybe there are those NRA fans who would say that if everyone had a gun this would not have happened. Instead we would have at least 2 dead teens and maybe more depending on how drunk the party-goers were.

I’m hoping that this might help these misguided and confused people understand that enlisting their children into playing violent  “brain scrambling” games which is a “rights of passage” in this  violence crazed culture produces the kind of “social” environment they live in. Anonymous Blows The Whistle

The Steubenville case began to get national attention after the hacking group Anonymous publicized a photograph of two men carrying the girl as well as incriminating video. The group proceeded to plan protests in the town, accusing officials of trying to minimize the incident because of the popularity of its “Big Red” football team.

As the New York Times explained in a lengthy December piece, what made this accusation of sexual assault so different from others in the past is that it took place “in the age of social media, when teenagers are capturing much of their lives on their camera phones—even repugnant, possibly criminal behavior, as they did in Steubenville in August—and then posting it on the Web, like a graphic, public diary.”

Which is the way the GOP and the 1% they pander to would like to keep you. The less we know the better for them because, besides money, “information is power”

The following piece Why Are Americans So Ignorant? by STEVEN MAZIE MARCH 15, 2013, 12:00 AM attempts to get some of us off the hook but also clarifies what the problem is.

I’m no Jay Leno fan, but one of his most popular bits, the “Jay Walking” segment, reveals the embarrassingly limited grasp some Americans have on reality. In the highlight reel below, when asked to name the number of stars on an American flag waving overhead, one woman responds “it’s moving too fast to count them”; another insists she had heard of the Gettysburg Address but isn’t sure exactly what street it’s on:

THERE ARE 6.2 BILLION

MORE PIGS AT THE TROUGH
Johann Wagener 3-16-13

If you make $33,500 a year, you are among the richest 5% in the world. There are 6.2 billion people less wealthy than you. In the U.S.A., however, your not even "average."

The median household income in the United States, as per the conducted surveys is around $46,000 per year. Now, talking more about the household income, only 17% of the total population actually makes in excess of $110,000 per year.

Just in case there are some of you who don’t know where all the money is, the following is a rogue’s gallery of those that hoard around 40% of the world’s wealth.

They don’t seem to have gotten the message that “you can’t take it with you.” Today’s ranking of the world’s richest people

It's gotten worse, not better, with time

In 1980, the world's poorest 10 percent lived on the equivalent of 72 cents a day or less. Accounting for inflation, by 1999 they were trying to live on only 58 cents a day. Between 1980 and 1999, the median income in the richest 10% of countries grew from 77 times that of the poorest 10% to a gap of 122 times.

Francis will make an ideal role model for those who are confused about their “Christian” faith and the true meaning of being a “humane” being.

(NY Times) He stopped to pay his hotel bill a day after becoming pope. He wore simple black shoes and an ordinary wristwatch with a thick black band to his first Mass as pontiff. He rode in a minivan to dinner with the cardinals who elected him, affectionately telling them, “May God forgive you for what you’ve done.”

Meeting with journalists this morning, Pope Francis laid out his vision for the Catholic church, which includes cutting spending on ornate ceremony and instead spending that money on the poor. He urged excited fellow-Argentines to skip the costly trip to Rome to visit the first non-European Pope in almost 1,300 years, and instead give that money to the poor.
"Oh, how I would like a poor Church, and for the poor," he told the gathered journalists. He explained the reason he took the name, Francis, after St. Francis of Assissi, was because of St. Francis's devotion to the poor and love of animal life.

On climate change, the Pope remarked, "Right now, we don't have a very good relation with creation."
