The New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association, which represents about 14,000 active and retired NYPD sergeants told Mayor Bill de Blasio to ‘Resign by sundown’ in epic showdown between law enforcement and the progressive leader who wants to disband them.
"We need to hear you RESIGNED as Mayor of NYC," the SBA, whose president is Ed Mullins, tweeted Friday. "We are WAITING. Only a few hours left until sundown. Give 8 million people a gift & quit. You ruined NYC, Save the City and step down."
