President Donald Trump received a chorus of praise after North Korea and South Korea decided to not only end their decadeslong war but work toward denuclearizing the peninsula. Some, even including CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, suggested that he could receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
But before Friday, the media heaped criticism on Trump for his fiery rhetoric, and some suggested he would provoke nuclear war with leader Kim Jong Un. But as Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) noted, Trump broke from his predecessors' diplomatic strategy, and it apparently worked.
