The sheriff who facilitated the law enforcement response to the shooting at a Florida high school in February is facing a no-confidence vote from his own deputies.
Despite calling his own leadership “amazing,” Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel will endure a motion of no confidence, which opened electronically Friday and will close on April 26, Jeff Bell, president of the Broward Sheriff’s Office Deputies Association told CNN.
“There is a complete failure at the sheriff’s office and he doesn’t recognize it,” Bell said.
