1 APPLE DOES NOT EQUAL A BUNCH OF ORANGES

I can't blame Camille Cosby for looking for a way out of this ongoing outpouring of women (19 at last count) who claim to have been sexually assaulted by her husband but to compare it to the one sole alleged victim of a gang rape on a college campus is a bit of a stretch.

Cosby's rape-a-thon spans over many years with many women and what is disturbing (and sad) about this is that Camille was seemingly in denial of what her husband was up to. To then come out and claim her husband is being victimized is even more disturbing and attests to how powerful denial can be when someone's reality is being threatened.

If the bond between Bill and Camille is mutually strong he needs to come forward and take responsibility for his actions, if for no other reason than to show respect for his wife and relieve her of the pain he has inflicted on her. In this case Camille is also a victim.
