Many Americans like to make believe that they are not dependent on our government. That it's only those 47% Romney labeled as losers. To those who believe this fantasy I would pose the following questions;
Do you have Medicare?
Have you ever had an FHA backed mortgage?
Do you collect Social Security?
Do you have VA benefits?
Do you buy and eat food with an FDA stamp on it?
Do you travel on Interstate roads?
Do you have a student loan?
If the answer is "yes" to any of the above (or many more services not listed here) you are sucking on one of Uncle Sam's teats whether you admit it or not!
Many of these "anti-entitlement" Americans behave like a litter of newly born puppies; screaming and whining, pushing and shoving to frantically hang on to that teat and determined to not let "runts" (those less fortunate than them) can't get hold of one. Fortunately puppies outgrow that stage quickly and, as adults, tend to be much more caring of each other.
When it comes to human beings; which includes mothers with children who literally need milk for their babies. Low income people who collect food stamps and are forced to eat on less than $5.00 a day. People who work very hard for a living in slave camps like Walmart or MacDonald s that are owned by some of the richest people in the world who pay them so little they qualify for welfare benefits. People who are in need of medical, dental, and other health services but are refused medical care except in the event of a "heart attack" which Romney pointed out, emergency rooms in case of a catastrophic event. As for people's healthcare in general; too bad.
There are businesses in this country who would rather shut down than provide healthcare benefits to their employees claiming it would hurt their bottom line. They seem to be oblivious to the reality that in order to protect and hoard their wealth they are hurting the people that they employ.
What can someone be thinking when they spend more to feed their dog than what countless Americans have to eat on? After all, are we not all part of the litter?
