The Democratic nominee for President of the United States will be sitting down for lunch with Leonardo DiCaprio on August 23. Back in town the day before for her first Hollywood fundraiser since the DNC last week, Hillary Clinton has marked the deep-pocket date at the Oscar winner’s L.A. pad on her calendar.
With tickets up to $33,400 a pop, the DiCaprio-hosted get-together will come a day after HRC is in town for an evening event at the Beverly Hills home of longtime supporter Haim Saban and his wife Cheryl. That August 22 trip to the Hollywood ATM will be co-hosted by the Power Rangersbillionaire and his spouse as well as Disney CEO Bob Iger, L.A. Olympics bid chiefCasey Wasserman and mega-donor Jeffrey Katzenberg. While the soon-to-be ex-DreamWorks Animation head honcho was not in Philadelphia last week for the Democratic National Convention, the Sabans were in attendance.
