If the Republicans want to keep a score of the number of fatalities that resulted from the Administration's failure to protect them, then it's only fair to look at both of these;
BENGHAZI; 4 Americans lost their lives under the Obama Administrations watch. This incident occurred thousands of miles from our shores where the US has little to no control.
9/11; 2,977 (excluding the 19 hijackers) lost their lives under the Bush Administrations watch. This incident occurred right in the heart of the largest city in the USA (New York) and it's Capital (Washington)
The Big Question;
"WHO KNEW?" WHAT DID THEY KNOW?" and "WHEN DID THEY KNOW IT?"
BENGHAZI: WASHINGTON — In the months leading up to the Sept. 11 attacks on the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, the Obama administration received intelligence reports that Islamic extremist groups were operating training camps in the mountains near the Libyan city and that some of the fighters were “Al Qaeda-leaning,” according to American and European officials. read more; http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/30/world/middleeast/no-specific-warnings-in-benghazi-attack.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0
9/11; On Aug. 6, 2001, President George W. Bush received a classified review of the threats posed by Osama bin Laden and his terrorist network, Al Qaeda. That morning’s “presidential daily brief” — the top-secret document prepared by America’s intelligence agencies — featured the now-infamous heading: “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” A few weeks later, on 9/11, Al Qaeda accomplished that goal. read more; http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/11/opinion/the-bush-white-house-was-deaf-to-9-11-warnings.html
Lindsay and John just can't say enough about how badly the Obama Administration behaved regarding Benghazi yet where were Lindsay and John when the Bush Administration failed miserably in protecting this country on 9/11?
Why such an outrage about 4 lives lost in a far-away land and not even a glimmer of concern about the 2,977 human beings that lost their lives in the Homeland?
Here's another number we can to the Bush/Cheney score sheet;
