New York city is hitting new lows on an almost daily basis. With the city having more homeless people in decades and the general looks of the city remind many of the grimy and slimy 70s in New York.
Bill DeBlasio has cut budgets for so many important departments that serve the city such as sanitation and police precincts all over the City.
City funding for the NYPD is projected to decline by $282 million from $10.5 billion to $10.2 billion between fiscal years 2020 and 2021. The operating budget will decrease by $345 million, or 6.6 percent, from $5.2 billion in fiscal year 2020 to $4.9 billion in fiscal year 2021.
These huge budget cuts for the NYPD already have affects on the rising crime in the city. The city surpassed 1,000 shootings for the year on Sunday, according to NYPD data, which also shows an average of nearly 10 people fell victim to gun violence each day over the last four weeks.
With four more months left in 2020, New York City logged 1,004 shootings as of Aug. 30, according to NYPD data released Monday. Last year, there had been just 537 by that time.
It is the first time the city has eclipsed the benchmark in gun violence since 2015, when 1,138 shootings were
recorded for the entire year. 1,138 for the whole year of 2015, at this rate we are going to surpass that number possibly by much.
The constant defunding of the police in the city is definitely not helping these numbers.
‘Defund police’ protesters have concrete proof that it is not the solution yet refuse to listen to facts and rather stick to their narrative.

President Trump has begun the process to defund lawless cities around the country like New York and Portland of taxpayer money they get in the form of federal funds:

The review will take about 30 days, at which point the White House Budget Director, Russ Vought, will report back to the president with recommendations. According to the New York Post this could cost these cities a ton of money, as they note that New York City receives $7 billion a year.
You can accuse Trump of using this to increase his appeal to voters for the upcoming election, which is probably true. But he’s not wrong. Some of these cities, like New York, are defunding police departments of significant money which only puts people in more danger and increases crime and lawlessness. I for one and glad Trump is standing up for the rule of law and looking for ways to push states back in the direction of law and order.

Even with the help of teleprompters, BIDEN cannot hide his physical deterioration. The statements he reads sound like desperate attempts to show he can be a tough guy too, but at 77 years of age, he barely makes sense.
77-year-old Joe Biden left his basement on Monday and traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a ‘big speech.’There was a handful of reporters sitting in social distancing circles and a few dozen people outside of the venue (including media).
Biden also delivered a few pizzas to a fire station where he got heckled by a Trump supporter.

Biden’s campaign started off Tuesday morning by “calling a lid” (shutting down for the day).
“There will be a virtual fundraiser later in the afternoon, and a pool report for that, but we are told not expect any pooled movements from Biden for the rest of the day.”
Biden needs a nap.
Meanwhile, President Trump is traveling to Kenosha, Wisconsin Tuesday after he already answered dozens of questions from reporters.
