Why did Putin order the campaign of "active measures" that have been directed against the United States and the West since before the 2016 election?

There appear to be many reasons, but the latest one to break through may be how strongly Putin feels the United States had been waging such a campaign against him and Russia.

Specifically, Putin appears to believe that Michael McFaul, the former U.S. ambassador to Russia, was personally directing these kinds of operations against him.

 He could believe it so strongly that Putin suggested to President Trump in their one-on-one meeting in Helsinki on Monday that Trump allow Russian investigators to come to the U.S. to question McFaul — in exchange for Putin allowing U.S. investigators to travel to Russia to question 12 recently indicted military intelligence officers accused by the Justice Department of hacking and dumping emails associated with the Democratic Party back in 2016.

Putin also complained in public about another individual, Bill Browder, who has spearheaded a global campaign of sanctions against Russia's elite but who Russians say is a tax criminal and a money launderer who was behind an alleged illegal plot to send financial support to Hillary Clinton's presidential bid in 2016.

WHY DID THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY FAIL TO PREVENT RUSSIA FROM ALLEGEDLY MEDDLING WITH THE US ELECTIONS IN 2016?

The 2016 elections were held during the Obama Administrations watch. It was his intelligence agencies; all 17 of them, who failed to prevent, or even detect that Russia was interfering (meddling) with our elections.

How is that possible? Why has there been no investigation(s) of the people in charge of these intelligence agencies who's responsibility it was to protect the United States from these types of attacks?

If it is indeed true that Russia was able to successful infiltrate and manipulate our elections then the Intelligence Community (Yes, 17 intelligence agencies really did say Russia was behind hacking) is guilty of gross negligence and incompetence and the people in charge; from Obama on down, need to be held accountable. This includes the FBI's Director Comey, and ODNI's Director Clapper, both outspoken critics of now President Trump.

Instead of investigating then candidate Trump who was also a victim, should Mueller not be focusing on those individuals who were obviously asleep at the wheel when dozens of Russian operatives were allegedly hacking our election infrastructure without anyone even noticing.

Or is it possible that POTUS is correct when he says that this is nothing more than a "Witch Hunt" orchestrated by the poltical Establishment who's intent is to disrupt and/or derail the Trump presidency?

And, most important to Americans, will it  succeed or is it begining to unwind?

Isn't it ironic that a foreign government agency would be responsible for blowing the whistle on corruption in US politics? Where was the FBI? Why was the Obama Administration derelict in protecting Americans and policing our political system? Who are the culprits here?

Why are the whistle blowers being punished instead of rewarded?

What was exposed is that the DNC was rigging the nomination in favor of Hillary by sabotaging the Sanders campaign. And, if the Russians were able to unearth the corruption why was US law enforcement oblivious to it? Now that's something Mueller should be investigating.

TRUMP WILL PLAY BUT NOT BY THE RULES

It looks like POTUS is once again being played by the Establishment and, once again, he will beat them at their own game because he won't play by their rules.

The expectation is that by the DOJ indicting a dozen Russians for alleged crimes against the Establishment a few days before POTUS is scheduled to sit down with Vlad P he will be compelled to create an incident designed to make him look bad by creating tension and possible hostility between the 2 countries. 

To make that happen POTUS would have to go along with the Establishment's "allegations" that Russia was guilty of these alleged crimes without the benefit of a real trial or conviction; but just the allegations made by agencies that are know to be infested with people hostile to POTUS and willing to commit acts (possible crimes) with the intention to bring him down.

Will POTUS just roll over and go along with the ploy?

Harvey Weinstein Speaks: 'Everyone' Trades Sex for Film Roles


Months after the first allegations of sexual harassment, abuse, and rape published in The New York Times and the New Yorker, disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein has spoken.

“Yes, I did offer them acting jobs in exchange for sex, but so did and still does everyone,” he told The Spectator in an interview published Friday.

“But I never, ever forced myself on a single woman.”

Weinstein was accused by more than 20 women of misconduct ranging from uncomfortable advances to using his immense power to leverage sex out of young actresses. The movie titan seemed to have a modus operandi—invite budding actresses to his hotel room for a reading or audition, emerge from the shower in his bathrobe, and ask for a massage or pressure them to perform sex acts. Some of the more severe allegations say he forced himself onto women and raped them.

A New York grand jury indicted Weinstein in late May on rape and sex crime charges after he turned himself into police. Weinstein was taken in for “alleged sex attacks in Manhattan in 2004 and 2013,” Page Six reported. According to Deadline, he faces up to 25 years in prison.

In the interview conducted by notorious far-right author Taki Theodoracopulos, Weinstein described himself as a “poor, ugly, Jewish” kid when he was young, and said he had “to fight all my life to get somewhere.” He seemingly justified his predatory behavior by noting how “No girl looked at me until I made it big in Hollywood.”


Some of Hollywood’s biggest names have been subject to Weinstein’s alleged misconduct. Gwyneth Paltrow recalled being asked for a massage and being threatened her after she reported Weinstein to Brad Pitt, her boyfriend at the time. Uma Thurman said the mogul attempted to “shove himself” on her. Angelina Jolie was more vague in her accusations, but claimed her experiences with him were enough to never want to work with him again. Ashley Judd and Mira Sorvino both claim that they saw their careers take hits after they refused his advances.

WILL THE REAL PETER STRZOK PLEASE STAND UP

It appears that there are multiple version of Peter Strzok; or so he would like the American public to believe.

First there's the "patriotic" Strzok; Dedicated, devoted and absolutely "unbiased" FBI agent, defender of the Constitution against anyone he personally deems to be a threat to even if it is the POTUS who was duly elected by millions of law abiding Americans.

Then, there's the loving and caring husband and family man; a staunch member of the community and respected government employee.

Also, there's the after hours party animal who describes bad mouthing Trump with a co-worker he's committing adultery with as "intimate" conversations. An interesting concept of "talking dirty" for one to grasp, but then who should judge?

A number of these conversations alluded to "stopping" (bringing down) Trump dare Americans choose to elect him POTUS.

To an average observer this might appear to be nothing more than a case of an over zealos, horney, arrogant, and overly biased government employee trying to impress his girlfriend, while other might contend that Mr. Strzok is a minor, but dangerous. player in the "deep state" conspiracy theorist like to talk about.

What is real is anyone's guess, but one thing for certain, Mr, Strzok is not who he says he is while in front of cameras or a Congressional hearing.

San Antonio man threw drink, stole MAGA hat, video shows | Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Police in San Antonio are investigating after a teen says he was attacked and insulted inside a Whataburger restaurant for wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat.


Hunter Richard, 16, filmed the incident, which occurred Tuesday at the Whataburger near the intersection of Nacodoches Road and Thousand Oaks on San Antonio's North Side. He told WOAI that the MAGA hat in the video was stolen from him by a man who ripped it off his head, tearing out some of Richard's hair, before throwing a drink at him.


The 20-second video, which originated on Facebook but has since spread across social media, begins with a man teasing someone off camera by holding the hat just out of reach and saying, "Supporting the president," incredulously.
