It's Trump draining the swamp; as promised.

Trump has fired the acting attorney general who ordered Justice Dept. not to defend president’s travel ban

President Trump fired Acting Attorney General Sally Yates Monday night, after Yates ordered Justice Department lawyers Monday not to defend his immigration order temporarily banning entry into the United States for citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries and refugees from around the world.

In a press release, the White House said Yates had “betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States.”

Much to do about who knows what? Taxes? Abortion? Womens Rights? Muslim's rights? Just plain rights?

500,000 Women Who Marched Against Trump Didn’t Even Know What They Were Protesting

The former mayor of New York questioned the 500,000 people who participated in the Women’s March on Washington.

“They do have some real issues, but most of the people I saw in Washington, and even the ones here in New York because I got back in time, I’m not even sure they know what they’re [protesting],” Giuliani said on “Fox and Friends” Monday. “They’re not protesting any one thing. It’s not as if we’re protesting Roe v. Wade. It’s a whole, ‘Something’s bad about Trump.'”

“Whatever that’s supposed to be.”

This is pathetic at least and bat-sh*t-crazy at worse.

The people that claim to be educated and boast of political correctness are in full melt down.

NBC Has 'No Comment' on SNL Writer's Disgusting Tweet About President's 10-Year-Old Son

It's been three days since Saturday Night Live writer Katie Rich tweeted an appalling joke about Donald Trump's 10-year-old son, Barron Trump. Shockingly, NBC has nothing to say on the matter.

During Friday's Presidential Inauguration, some Twitter users thought it would be a good idea to air their questionable thoughts about Barron Trump seemingly looking bored or uncomfortable during the ceremony. Unhappy with the explanation that he's simply a ten-year-old who never asked to be thrust into the national spotlight and could understandably be uncomfortable with that attention, SNL writer Katie Rich shared her thoughts in a now deleted tweet:

“Barron will be this country's first homeschool shooter.”

The Main Stream Media is being confronted on it's false news tirades against the President by none other than the President himself.

The "Latte-Sipping Coastals" that make up the Plutocratic Establishment is in awe of the blunt and forceful challenges Trump is making when the MSM comes out with what is mostly either misleading or exaggerated negative reports that denigrate or slander him.

With False Claims, Trump Attacks Media on Turnout and Intelligence Rift
Here's a sample of the latest attack(s) by the MSM

WASHINGTON — President Trump used his first full day in office on Saturday to unleash a remarkably bitter attack on the news media, falsely accusing journalists of both inventing a rift between him and intelligence agencies and deliberately understating the size of his inauguration crowd.

In a visit to the Central Intelligence Agency intended to showcase his support for the intelligence community, Mr. Trump ignored his own repeated public statements criticizing the intelligence community, a group he compared to Nazis just over a week ago.

He also called journalists “among the most dishonest human beings on earth,” and he said that up to 1.5 million people had attended his inauguration, a claim that photographs disproved.

Later, at the White House, he dispatched Sean Spicer, the press secretary, to the briefing room in the West Wing, where Mr. Spicer scolded reporters and made a series of false statements.

It's also encouraging to read and hear news reports that counter those put out by the MSM;

Brit Hume Calls BS on Trump and Obama Inauguration Pics--Claims There's a Deceptive Trick to Photos

At a time when there should be national unity, a media war has erupted between the size of Obama's and Trump's, err, Inauguration Day crowds.

The size of the crowds is being hotly disputed as a flashpoint between the Democratic Party and its supportive media, who want to delegitimize the new president, and the Trump administration, which wants the symbolism of a massive crowd on the Washington mall to defy the opposition's narrative.

“I have a running war with the media,” Trump said, adding how he really feels, “They are among the most dishonest human beings on earth.”

As with all narrative battles, imagery is often deployed by political operatives in an attempt to bolster support or to undermine one's opponents.

A viral image put out by the New York Times, and subsequently adopted by much of the media, has been utilized by his opposition as a way of demonstrating that Trump's crowd was substantially smaller than former President Obama's in 2009.

A number of things should be noted about these images, just for a matter of context:

There are white tarps on the grounds of the Washington mall in the 2017 Trump Inauguration photo (right), while there none in the Obama photo (left).

The weather for the Obama Inaugural Address was in the 20s, while Trump's address had weather in the 40s and scattered rain showers.

The Trump Inaugural Address was given while the areas of the mall were blocked off by officials for stated security concerns, such as protesters.

Due to the cloudy skies seen in the photo, there will likely be no conclusive satellite data for the Trump Inaugural Address.

According to 2009 address analysis, drawing from satellite data evaluated by crowd size analysts, former President Obama drew a record 1.8 million to the Washington mall. It was a historic event in the sense that no African American had been elected president before; this alone would draw numerous loyal crowds.

It looks like President Trump is going to stay true to his campaign promise to return America back to Main Street Americans.

President Trump made clear that he would break with the orthodoxy of neoconservatism and liberal interventionism that has led to endless wars in the Middle East and a dangerous New Cold War with Russia.

Trump declared: “We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world, but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first. We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example. We will shine for everyone to follow.”

That sentiment reflects a traditional U.S. approach to the world, followed by America’s first presidents who warned against “entangling alliances” and articulated best by President John Quincy Adams who said in 1821 that while America will speak on behalf of liberty, “she has abstained from interference in the concerns of others, even when conflict has been for principles to which she clings, as to the last vital drop that visits the heart.

“Wherever the standard of freedom and independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will her heart, her benedictions and her prayers be. But she goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy.”

Over the past several decades – even after the end of the Cold War –American presidents have violated this founding precept as they repeatedly went abroad “in search of monsters to destroy.”

These missions – designed and advocated by Washington’s dominant neocons and their liberal-hawk sidekicks – have not only wasted trillions of dollars and cost the lives of thousands of U.S. soldiers but the projects have failed to improve national security, have led to massive bloodshed in the targeted countries and have undermined global stability.

Latte-sipping coastals are in panic mode as Donald Trump reaffirms his commitment to "drain the swamp" of self-serving elitists who have pandered to the power brokers to enrich themselves at the expense of Main Street Americans.

The defeat of Hillary Clinton and a long list of Republican wanna-be's marks the end of quid pro quo Establishment politics in America and returning the power and wealth to Main Street Americans who sent the Plutocrats home to their gated havens to lick their wounds.

Obama Out, Trump In -- a New Era of Politics Begins

In an address that seemed to speak directly to the heart of his most ardent supporters, he said, "We are transferring the power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you."

The crowd felt his words to their core, chanting and cheering with each mention Trump made of returning America to its place on high.

"For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost," he said. "Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs.”
The time is now, Trump said, to put America first again. The time is now, he said, to make America great again.

These latte-sipping Plutocrats are so self absorbed that they are blinded to what they are doing to our countries democratic values by mistaking the office of the President for the person that is electedby to the office every 4 years.

Rather than accept that the "people" have voted and the Electoral College has validated his election they would rather focus their energy on diminishing and weakening our democracy by attacking the institutions it is built upon.

On the bright side these people have had to show their true colors and as such expose this quasi Plutocracy they have created within what used to be the Democratic party.

Top 10 Reasons Congress Members Are Boycotting Trump

One thing we can all agree on is that life is not fair. But, there were periods of time, at least, we had come to accept that it was at the very least acceptable and tolerable.

It was Vilfredo Pareto who, in 1902, gave the term the meaning that it has today. We mostly think of Pareto as the economist who came up with ideas such as “Pareto efficiency” and the “Pareto principle”. The latter – sometimes known as the “power law”, or the “80/20 rule” – stipulates that 80 per cent of the land always ends up belonging to 20 per cent of the population. Pareto deduced this by studying land distribution in Italy at the turn of the 20th century. He also found that 20 per cent of the pea pods in his garden produced 80 per cent of the peas. Pareto, however, was not only an economist. In later life, he turned his hand to sociology, and it was in this field that he developed his theory of the “circulation of elites”.

Those days are over.

Just 8 men own same wealth as half the world

Eight men own the same wealth as the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest half of humanity, according to a new report published by Oxfam today to mark the annual meeting of political and business leaders in Davos.

Oxfam’s report, ‘An economy for the 99 percent’, shows that the gap between rich and poor is far greater than had been feared. It details how big business and the super-rich are fuelling the inequality crisis by dodging taxes, driving down wages and using their power to influence politics. It calls for a fundamental change in the way we manage our economies so that they work for all people, and not just a fortunate few.

New and better data on the distribution of global wealth – particularly in India and China – indicates that the poorest half of the world has less wealth than had been previously thought. Had this new data been available last year, it would have shown that nine billionaires owned the same wealth as the poorest half of the planet, and not 62, as Oxfam calculated at the time.

Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of Oxfam International, said:

“It is obscene for so much wealth to be held in the hands of so few when 1 in 10 people survive on less than $2 a day. Inequality is trapping hundreds of millions in poverty; it is fracturing our societies and undermining democracy.

“Across the world, people are being left behind. Their wages are stagnating yet corporate bosses take home million dollar bonuses; their health and education services are cut while corporations and the super-rich dodge their taxes; their voices are ignored as governments sing to the tune of big business and a wealthy elite.”

They are lining up to take turns on bashing Trump and making a mockery of our democratic system.

The rants are becoming almost incoherent which makes one wonder who are the real dangers to America?

Rep. Maxine Waters's Reason for Protesting Trump Inaug. Is Every Bit as Insulting as You've Come to Expect

Here was her rationale:
"I believe that Trump is a danger. I believe that he wants to tighten and build up his relationship to Russia for whatever reasons.
What we have discovered, despite, ‘Look, I have no business with Russia,’ he tried to make us believe that he had no business and he was not interested in any business, only to discover 37 efforts have been put forward where he tried to do business with Russia and it hasn’t worked out for whatever reasons.
Another thing is, even though it is not verified, we are told that there’s a dossier put out by a well known spy out of London, who have revealed some things about what the Russians are holding over the head of Trump. And I think that our intelligence agencies need to drill down on that, they need to see, if there’s any truth to it, because if it is, it is very dangerous for Russia to be able to blackmail ah Trump at any given time."

If the leak is regarding national security, then it's forgivable.

If, on the other hand it pertains to politicians in his party, then look out!

What Obama has again shown is that the political Establishment is corrupted to the point that it places it's own special interests over those of the country's security.

President Obama on Wednesday said his decision to commute the sentence of WikiLeaks leaker Chelsea Manning after sanctioning Russia for allegedly leaking information to the same government transparency group did not constitute hypocrisy, as some have charged.

"I don't see a contradiction," the outgoing president said at his final press conference.

Obama: No contradiction on handling of Manning, Russia leaks

The "latte-sipping" Plutocratic branch of the so-called Democratic party are continuing to undermine the process of making a smooth transition of power and allowing children to get a first hand experience by participating in it.

These self serving elitists will go to any extent to demean and denigrate the President elect even if it means politicizing the Girl Scouts of America.

The Girl Scouts of the USA, the popular, over 100-year-old youth organization, defended their participation in the inauguration ceremonies for President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday in the wake of some criticismfor their involvement.

Girl Scouts Defend Their Involvement in Donald Trump Inauguration

The Plutocratic branch of the political Establishment passing themselves off as Democrats are hell bent on doing as much harm as possible on what's left of this countries democratic process.

It comes as no surprise that these self indulged elitists put themselves and their special interest donors before country.

Taking this into account it is a positive sign that Donald Trump has accomplished what he set out to do; bring democracy back from the brink and save Main Street Americans from the vultures that rule the political Establishment; both Democrat and Republican alike.

WHIP LIST: 60 Dems boycotting Trump's inauguration

Monday, January 16, 2017

If one were to step back and look at what the political Establishment is doing since their heir to the throne was promptly trounced by the American electorate one would suspect that a possible coup may be in the making.

As clumsy and ill-conceived as it is the people behind this possible coup are determined to destroy any effort to dismantle their plutocratic dynasty even to the extent of using the clandestine methods to accomplish their objectives.

Using the intelligence community to nullify or denigrate Donald Trumps presidency; along with the help of the Main Stream Media is plausible.

Just what would that look like?

Donald Trump v. the Spooks

The political Establishment wants us to believe the 63 million Americans that cast a vote for Donald Trump were stupid because they were duped by the Russians and therefore their vote(s) are not legitimate.

The political Establishment also wants Americans to believe that Hillary Clinton lost the election because the Russians rigged the election in Trumps favor.

If that is not insulting enough they want Americans to also believe that this claim is legitimate because it is backed up by the Intelligence Community based on their word alone, with no facts (proof) to back it up.

This again is based on the assumption that Americans are very stupid indeed and will not question the ruling Establishment.

So, one might wonder; what happened to our democracy? Good question. What democracy?

What's going here is more like how a Plutocracy operates. There's the ruling class who make the decisions on how things are and then there's the rest of us who just go along with it.

This plays itself out in the Main Stream Media; the propaganda machine for the Establishment who put out pieces like this one; Trump is a legitimate president. But we need to know how he won. that questions, implies, suggests, alleges, intimates, any and all reasons why the election is not legitimate.

What's interesting is that there is no mention of the corrupted way the Establishment rigged the primaries in order to "select" their chosen candidate who they then assumed (wrongly) would be a shoe-in to win the general election.

There's no acknowledgement that all the leaked information was factual and effectively exposed the corruption in our political system; including the anointed candidate and, once again, it implies that Americans are so stupid they are not aware or care about what goes on behind closed doors.

The only real thing that happen here is that Main Street Americans had had enough and wanted to pick an "anti-Establishment" outsider as their candidate and subsequent leader.

The 63 million Americans, and the Electoral College that backed them up did not allow themselves to once again be duped; not by the Russians, but by the political Establishment into electing someone who did not represent them or the democracy that want to protect.

Isn't posing a child in a sex pic a crime? Anthony Weiner was caught committing that crime but is not in jail.

Isn't "sexting" a minor a crime? Anthony Weiner was caught committing that crime but is not in jail?

Could it be that because Anthony Weiner is the estranged husband of Huma Abedin a very close friend of Hillary Clinton and the crimes were committed in the Big Apple where Clinton is well connected to the reigning political Establishment that he is immune to prosecution?

Is this another example of how corrupted the Democratic party and it's major players are?

Finally out of the media glare, Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin have been focusing on their 5-year-old son, as Weiner waits to hear if he’ll face charges for sending sexually charged texts to an underage girl.

Sources close to the disgraced former congressman say he is still spending time at his and Hillary Clinton’s closest aide Abedin’s Irving Place apartment, and he hopes she’ll call off the divorce and reconcile with him.

One source told us, “Anthony did a month in rehab and is undergoing further outpatient treatment in New York. He and Huma continue to co-parent their son. He is spending a lot of time at their apartment, and lives the rest of the time with his mother” Frances Weiner, who is believed to have a small place in Park Slope.

The Clinton Foundation announced it’s laying off 22 staffers on the Clinton Global Initiative, keeping with a plan to deal with the negative spotlight put on the organization during former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
While the FBI concluded its investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state, a second investigation into the Clinton Foundation regarding allegations of corruption during that same tenure is ongoing.

The decision to sunset the Clinton Global Initiative reportedly set off a dispute within Clinton Foundation circles regarding the best way to handle the fallout from the allegations. Some complained the layoff process was “insensitively” handled, Politico reported, while others took issue with the optics of allowing anyone with the Clinton Global Initiative to stay on.

They want to blame the Russians for harming this country while they actively tear at time honored traditions with their ill conceived tantrums about our newly elected president.

They delude themselves into believing they are the moral compass for all Americans while in reality they are a bunch of self absorbed elitists who, up until now, believed the country belonged to them to do with as they wished.

What they discovered is that Main Street Americans disagreed.

There are celebrities/entertainers who understand what it means to put their country first;

Amidst the seemingly overwhelming list of “no, thank you”s, one big name in country music isn't about to let politics get in the way of a performance. Toby Keith, a self-proclaimed “independent” is set to perform at the Lincoln Memorial on January 19th.

The proud American singer has an extensive list of musical accolades and has repeatedly shown his support for theUnited States military.

During a performance in Atlanta in 2015, he brought military members on stage to honor the four Marines and one sailor who were killed in a terror attack in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Despite the criticism, you won't find him saying “sorry” anytime soon.

In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, the country star said:

“I don’t apologize for performing for our country or military."

His music transcends the political aisle, and his statement highlighted other important performances he has done:

“I performed at events for previous presidents [George W.] Bush and [Barack] Obama and over 200 shows in Iraq and Afghanistan for the USO.”

With songs titled “American Soldier,” “Courtesy of The Red, White, and Blue,” and “Made in America” the singer seems like the perfect entertainer to perform at one of America's most important events.

Unlike many people who have praised her speech, the actor used his voice to call out the real reason he thinks the actress is upset. He wrote:

“The reason you are heartbroken is not because Hillary lost. She was always a lost cause. The reason you’re heartbroken is because you and many other celebrities who share your beliefs realized on November 8th that the corporate media agenda has failed you and you failed it.”

Quaid claimed the “biggest shocker” to Hollywood was that their voices don't matter when their fans realize how big the country's problems are. He wrote that the public wants “trust” and doesn't like “being lied to by NBC and CNN, you or anybody else.”

Is this Establishment politician doing his job and representing the people in his District?

Does anyone outside of his district really care what he thinks about Trump?

Who is this politician pandering to by devoting so much of his time going into full blown rants about Trump rather than doing the "people's" business?

It appears that John Lewis is nothing more than an attack dog for the Establishment who's primary objective is to attack Trump and by default the millions of Americans that voted for him.

Seems that the Trump bashers have never heard of detente.

This could all be a whole lot of nothing, or it could be something more serious. It isn't uncommon for ambassadors to try to reach out to incoming administrations.

But critics have long raised concerns about Flynn's relationship with Russia and in particular RT, the Russian state-owned English-language network (considered by the U.S. intelligence community to be a propaganda tool).

Flynn made appearances on the network and even sat next to Putin at an event celebrating its 10th anniversary.

In a sharp break with tradition, a growing number of Democrats are announcing they will boycott President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration.

Ten House Democrats so far have issued public statements saying they won't attend the Jan. 20 ceremony following an extraordinarily divisive election. Still others say they're torn about going.

It’s a departure from lawmakers of both parties putting aside their personal feelings to watch the new president take the oath of office. While the majority of Democrats still plan to go, the fact that even a handful are making a point of boycotting shows the depth of antipathy toward Trump.

Ex-spy ‘terrified’ over Trump dossier backlash: report | TheHill

Whoever is responsible for leaking the shenanigans in the political Establishment should be rewarded, not punished. As a result of the leak the American people dodged a bullet by exposing the rampant corruption in both the DNC and the Clinton campaign.

Rather than falling on their swords and taking responsibility for their misdeeds these political operatives are continuing their attacks on Main Street America and the president elect, hell bent on further damaging  the country and it's people.

Trump says spy agencies leaked false document

Fueling acrimony with U.S. intelligence officials, he accuses them of Nazi tactics.

By Noah Bierman and Brian Bennett

President-elect Donald Trump amplified his already heated war with the intelligence community Wednesday, accusing agents of disseminating an ugly and unsubstantiated report about him and comparing the leak to Nazi tactics.

The showdown threatens to further undermine trust between the next commander in chief and America’s spies amid heightened threats to national security from terrorist groups and adversaries around the world with powerful new cyberweapons.

Trump, for the first time, acknowledged intelligence findings that Russia hacked Democratic files in an effort to interfere with the election, but he denied that Moscow tried to help him win and praised President Vladimir Putin, and even suggested that the hack ultimately helped American voters.

“Hacking’s bad and it shouldn’t be done,” he told reporters. “But look at the things that were hacked; look at what was learned from that hacking.”

The claim was one of several bizarre moments at a wide-ranging news conference, Trump’s first since July, that also touched on his business conflicts, his biggest campaign promises and another of his main foils, the media.

The event went off with a typical level of theatrics: Trump stood in the lobby of Trump Tower in New York next to stacks of file folders, ostensibly containing documents detailing the handover of his businesses to his older sons, though they were acknowledged only as an afterthought. Several other speakers took turns at the lectern, including a tax lawyer, a spokesman and Vice President-elect Mike Pence. Trump briefly argued with a CNN correspondent, refusing to take his question.

Trump was asked to rule out the possibility of contacts between his associates and Russian intelligence agents during the campaign and would not do so. But he lashed out against media organizations that published unverified allegations Tuesday from a report that claimed that Russians had gathered blackmail material against him and that people in his orbit had met with Russian agents during the campaign.

The unsubstantiated information was contained in a 35-page file released Tuesday by BuzzFeed, which said it was publishing the material in the interest of “transparency.” No news organization has been able to verify any of the material in the dossier, which CNN reported was prepared by an outside source. Media reports conflict about whether it was disclosed to Trump and President Obama in classified intelligence briefings last week.

Trump said it was “sick people” who “put that crap together,” including unproven assertions that he encountered prostitutes at a Russian hotel.

“I’m also very much of a germaphobe, by the way,” he said. “Believe me.

“It was disgraceful — disgraceful that the intelligence agencies allowed any information that turned out to be so false and fake out,” Trump said. “That’s something that Nazi Germany would have done and did do.”

Intelligence officials and their allies have stewed over Trump’s broadsides and were angered by his latest declarations of distrust.

“Kill the messenger and divert attention: That is the only trick Donald Trump has, and he does it viciously,” said Glenn Carle, a former senior CIA officer who spent more than two decades as a spy.

“The relationship is essentially damaged beyond the possibility of repair before it has even begun,” he said.

Trump continued to dismiss criticism of Russia, much of it waged by members of his own party, over the hacking of Democrats. He noted that China also has breached U.S. government systems and said it is not getting the attention it deserves, one of several instances when he was asked about Russia and invoked China instead in his answer.

He praised Russia for denouncing the report that it was gathering blackmail material on him as “pulp fiction.” And he insisted that Russians would have released damaging information about him during the campaign if they had it, ignoring the possibility that Putin could hold onto it as leverage and contradicting intelligence conclusions that the Kremlin was specifically trying to aid Trump.

“If Putin likes Donald Trump, guess what, folks? That’s called an asset, not a liability,” Trump said.

He added that he did not know yet whether he would ultimately get along with Putin. “I hope I do. But there’s a good chance I won’t. And if I don’t, do you honestly believe that Hillary [Clinton] would be tougher on Putin than me? Does anybody in this room really believe that? Give me a break.”

Trump spoke positively of improving relations with Russia during his presidency, praising Putin and saying Moscow “can help us fight [Islamic State], which, by the way, is, No. 1, tricky.”

Some of those views not only put him at odds with some U.S. intelligence officials but also many Republican members of Congress who call Putin an autocrat who violates human rights and unlawfully invaded Ukraine and annexed Crimea. That tension played out Wednesday on Capitol Hill, where Rex Tillerson, Trump’s choice for secretary of State, faced sharp questions during his initial Senate hearing from members of both parties. The former Exxon Mobil chief has had deep business ties in the country.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, a Republican who ran against Trump for president, showed particular frustration that Tillerson would not use the term “war criminal” to describe Putin, in light of atrocities reported in Syria, where Russian troops are aiding government forces.

And although Tillerson criticized Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and said policy toward Russia had to be “clear-eyed,” he stuck with his skepticism toward economic sanctions, which he said too often end up hurting U.S. businesses. They have been a key tool for the Obama administration to punish Russia for its incursions into Ukraine.

Another top Trump Cabinet pick will face senators Thursday. Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.), an aerospace entrepreneur and former Army officer whom Trump has selected to lead the CIA, may be asked how he intends to run an agency that has been openly mocked by his future boss.

CIA leaders in the seventh-floor suites of the agency’s headquarters in Langley, Va., are bracing for a confrontation when Trump’s team enters the White House. Trump said he has ordered his national security team to launch a 90-day review of the nation’s cyberdefenses as soon as he takes office. And he roiled intelligence officials when his transition team issued a statement in December knocking down the CIA’s assessment that Putin had ordered the hacks in a deliberate effort to damage Clinton and bolster Trump’s election prospects.

The rift has grown wide enough that Trump doesn’t seem to trust the intelligence briefers to keep their encounters private. During the news conference, Trump said he recently wanted to test whether U.S. intelligence officials were telling reporters about their briefings with him, so he met with intelligence officials without anyone in his tightly knit organization knowing, he said.

“Nobody knew, not even Rhona, my executive assistant for years, she didn’t know — I didn’t tell her,” he said.

“The meeting was had, the meeting was over, they left, and immediately the word got out that I had a meeting,” he said.

“It’s pretty sad when intelligence reports get leaked out to the press,” Trump said at another point.

He also issued a veiled threat, noting that releasing classified information would be a crime.

Democrats warned that Trump was being shortsighted.

“Trump may think that denigrating the intelligence community is good politics, or a useful way to deflect attention from the gravity of Russia’s intervention on his behalf during the election,” Rep. Adam B. Schiff of Burbank, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said in a statement.

At some point, Trump may need to rely on intelligence reports to justify military action overseas, he said.

“By casting doubt on their integrity, by mentioning the intelligence community in the same sentence as Nazi Germany, President-elect Trump is undermining the authority and credibility that he will need as president,” Schiff said.

The intelligence community has a track record for lying when it's in their (the political Establishment) best interest.

Once again Americans are being asked to go along and blindly accept that they are being told the truth about the how and why's Hillary Clinton (the Establishment) lost this election.

And, once again, Americans are being asked to trust without verification that the Russians are to blame for Hillary's loss and Trumps win.

The question remains, given what we know about the intelligence community and how the political Establishment operates, will it work this time?

Just as the first casualty of war is said to be the truth, the first casualty of the new Cold War is irony. Our most prominent journalists seem to have missed the Orwellian irony of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) asking Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper at Friday's Senate hearings if Julian Assange has any credibility. Assange has maintained that the hacked or leaked emails of Democratic Party officials did not come from the Russian government, or any other government.

As is well-known, Clapper lied to Congress about a serious violation of the constitutional rights of tens of millions of Americans. This lie is a crime for which he actually could have been prosecuted. In March 2013, Clapper falsely answered, "No, sir" to the question, "Does the NSA [National Security Association] collect any type of data at all on millions, or hundreds of millions of Americans?"

He later admitted that his answer was untrue.

Clapper lied again in Friday’s testimony, saying that Assange was "under indictment" for "a sexual crime." In fact, Assange has not been indicted for anything, and the government of Sweden has never even charged him with a crime. (He was initially questioned by Swedish police but allowed to leave the country.)

In reality, he is a political prisoner, and the United Nations Working Group on arbitrary detention has found that he has been arbitrarily detained since 2010 by the United Kingdom and Sweden, and ordered his release and compensation.

It seems the Hollywood crowd can't get over their losses and are still taking every opportunity; even celebrity award shows, to turn these venues into Trump bashing events.

They continue to alienate themselves from Main Street Americans by behaving like spoiled children who throw tantrums when they don't get their way.

And it's filled to the brim with hysterical, exaggerated fake news based on flimsy or non-existent information that defies common sense.

Let's start with distinguishing the difference between "leaking" and "hacking"

READ: Emails were leaked, not hacked;

Based on the way this was handled by both the FBI and the DNC it would be reasonable to say that what we are talking about are "leaked" not "hacked" information

What Americans are left with is a huge pile of convoluted BS from which it is literally impossible to discover what really happened; leaving us to forever debate about what really happened

One thing we can be certain about is that the DNC and the Clinton Campaign were up to no good and were actively trying to manipulate and undermine the political process at every turn. As a result the American people lost faith in the system and selected an independent anti-Establishment "outsider" to be our next POTUS.

As America continues to absorb the results of a truly contentious and historic presidential election, one group of voters may be particularly upset: Bernie Sanders supporters. For months over the course of the campaign, many in Sanders' ranks said he was the only candidate with a sure shot at beating Trump, that he could reach working class voters better than Hillary Clinton could, and that he offered a true progressive agenda that Clinton could not.

But these supporters never got the chance to be proven right — or wrong. So now, some of them vent.

"Schadenfreude," said Philip Werlau, a Bernie Sanders supporter, when asked his feelings about this week's election results. "That is the German word for taking pleasure in someone else's misfortune. ... Because I don't want Trump to be president. But I'm happy that what I perceived as unfair tactics lost."

Bernie Sanders thinks he has a pretty good idea why Hillary Clinton and Democrats lost in the 2016 election.

"Look, you can't simply go around to wealthy people's homes raising money and expect to win elections," the Vermont senator, who gave Clinton a surprisingly strong run for the Democratic nomination, told NPR's David Greene in an interview airing on Morning Edition. "You've got to go out and mix it up and be with ordinary people."

That picks up on a criticism of Clinton devoting too much time to fundraising — and not enough to on-the-ground campaigning in traditionally Democratic states, like Michigan and Wisconsin. In the general election, Clinton never visited Wisconsin after she became the nominee and visited Michigan late in the game. The two Upper Midwestern states swung narrowly to Trump: Wisconsin by slightly more than 20,000 votes and Michigan by slightly more than 10,000. During the primary, Sanders boasted of his small-donor donations.

"The Democratic Party swallowed the bait," he argued. "They became hooked on big money."

The claim is that the Russians helped Trump win the election but it is not backed up with any factual or verifiable proof. The total report is nothing more than conjecture based on opinions of people; known and unknown who claim to be non-political.

It is also based on an assumption that Main Street Americans are gullible and stupid, and were duped by the Russians into voting for Trump; resulting in negating the electorate and denigrating Trump. How is that not political? How is that not shameful and corrupt?

Putin Ordered 'Influence Campaign' To Help Trump, U.S. Intelligence Report Says : The Two-Way : NPR

But that does not prove anything; especially when you're told up front that you just have to "trust" that the claim(s) is based on real facts/evidence and is true.

Repeating an accusation over and over again is not evidence that the accused is guilty, no matter how much “confidence” the accuser asserts about the conclusion. Nor is it evidence just to suggest that someone has a motive for doing something. Many conspiracy theories are built on the notion of “cui bono” – who benefits – without following up the supposed motive with facts.

But that is essentially what the U.S. intelligence community has done regarding the dangerous accusation that Russian President Vladimir Putin orchestrated a covert information campaign to influence the outcome of the Nov. 8 U.S. presidential election in favor of Republican Donald Trump.

Just a day after Director of National Intelligence James Clapper vowed to go to the greatest possible lengths to supply the public with the evidence behind the accusations, his office released a 25-page report that contained no direct evidence that Russia delivered hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta to WikiLeaks.

One thing you can say with certainty about Establishment politicians; they are relentless and know how to follow orders.

What it has come down to now is that the Establishment would like Americans to believe that the only reason Trump won and Hillary lost was because the Russians were able to dupe American voters (play them) into voting for Trump and rejecting Hillary.

My My Main Street Americans are really going to appreciate being labeled stupid by the very Establishment they were successful in dismantling this past election.

What it looks like is that the elitists (latte sipping coastals as they are known) are still living in the illusion that they are in charge and it's only a matter of time before Main Street Americans (the flyer-overs as they are known) will be brought to "heel" as Hillary put it.

Countering Trump, Bipartisan Voices Strongly Affirm Findings on Russian Hacking - The New York Times

It's just a lot of blow and no show.

It's embarrassing to see just how low the political Establishment will stoop.

Implying that Americans were duped into electing Trump is an insult to every Trump voter and Main Street Americans as a whole.

It's going to be interesting to see how Main Street Americans respond to this ongoing smear campaign by the Establishment and the Main Stream media come next election cycle.

Intel report: Putin directly ordered effort to influence election -

The implication is clear. Americans that voted for Trump were duped by those sly Russians which manipulated the way they voted.

Simply put; Trump supporters are stupid. They were played by the Russians or they would have otherwise voted for Hillary.

This so-called conclusive report paints Hillary as a victim and implying that the emails depicting the way the DNC and her campaign behaved were manufactured in order to denigrate her. Uh?

Then there's this;

The bombshell document details the IC’s findings, but provides little in the way of forensic evidence backing up its assessment, citing the need to protect sources and methods.

“While the conclusions in the report are all reflected in the classified assessment, the declassified report does not and cannot include the full supporting information, including specific intelligence and sources and methods,” the report reads.

Simply put the report offers "nothing" to support it's conclusions other than the opinions of those who wrote it.

Now, that does imply that Americans are stupid.

Declassified report says Putin ‘ordered’ effort to undermine faith in U.S. election and help Trump - The Washington Post

Americans are again being played by the political Establishment and they are using their attack dogs; which include Obama, to frantically make a last ditch effort to distract Americans from the real problem by scaring them with tried and true boogeyman tactics.

The problem for the Establishment is that this time the American public is not so easily played.

In an extraordinary development Thursday, the Obama administration announced a series of sanctions against Russia. Thirty-five Russian nationals will be expelled from the country. President Obama issued a terse statement seeming to blame Russia for the hack of the Democratic National Committee emails.

"These data theft and disclosure activities could only have been directed by the highest levels of the Russian government," he wrote.

Russia at first pledged, darkly, to retaliate, then backed off. The Russian press today is even reporting that Vladimir Putin is inviting "the children of American diplomats" to "visit the Christmas tree in the Kremlin," as characteristically loathsome/menacing/sarcastic a Putin response as you'll find.

This dramatic story puts the news media in a jackpot. Absent independent verification, reporters will have to rely upon the secret assessments of intelligence agencies to cover the story at all.

Many reporters I know are quietly freaking out about having to go through that again. We all remember the WMD fiasco.

"It's déjà vu all over again" is how one friend put it.

You can see awkwardness reflected in the headlines that flew around the Internet Thursday. Some news agencies seemed split on whether to unequivocally declare that Russian hacking took place, or whether to hedge bets and put it all on the government to make that declaration, using "Obama says" formulations.

The New York Times was more aggressive, writing flatly, "Obama Strikes Back at Russia for Election Hacking." It backed up its story with a link to a joint FBI/Homeland Security report that details how Russian civilian and military intelligence services (termed "RIS" in the report) twice breached the defenses of "a U.S. political party," presumably the Democrats.

This report is long on jargon but short on specifics. More than half of it is just a list of suggestions for preventive measures.

Something About This Russia Story Stinks - Rolling Stone

It looks like to political Establishment is not going to let up on trying to discredit Trump.

While Hillary sits on the sidelines the Establishment is using Obama as an attack dog to go after Trump, claiming that the Russians rigged the election in his favor. They say that to disagree is unpatriotic and treasonous.

What is again purposefully overlooked is the fact that it was the Establishment and Hillary who, by their own actions that brought about their defeat; not the Russians or Wikileaks. At worse they were the messengers and we all know that killing the messenger is not a solution to the problem(s) in American politics.

Is this not within the FBI's purview? Are they not the primary investigative agency when it comes to domestic affairs?

Why is the CIA leading an investigation that is directly related to bi-partison politics on US soil? I thought it was illegal for the CIA to conduct operations on US soil other than being called in as advisors of sorts.

Why is FBI Director Comey not the spokesperson instead of CIA spooks who's primary role is to meddle in other countries politics (which they do readily)?

What this looks like is another one of those Establishment plots to stir trouble that distracts from them and their wrong doings. Bottom line the political Establishment was involved in lot's of nasty and corrupt activities that was exposed by known and unknown perpetrators which may or may not have included some Russians. And, to put it simply, they got busted
